Question your thinking, change your world
Bringing Inquiry to Every Student, Everywhere
Through a Three-Pronged Approach
The Thinking Project is a grassroots 501c3 nonprofit focused on helping students to recognize and overcome stressful, limiting thinking. We promote resilience and self-awareness through engaging lessons, activities, and projects.

The three prongs of our curriculum are:

Students develop concentration, focused attention, and breath and body awareness.
Student empathy, compassion, and self-awareness are supported through recognizing and naming emotions, and the interplay between thoughts, emotions, and behavior.
Incorporating mindfulness and emotional awareness, students learn to identify and question thoughts causing stress and difficulty, look at situations from a variety of perspectives, and discover new possibilities.
Our curriculum is based in Inquiry-Based Stress Reduction (IBSR), a scientifically demonstrated method for reducing stress.
